General information

The holiday home is available for the customer from the arrival day starting at 16.00/ at 4 pm until midday if not otherwise agreed with Norppa-Majat.

The handover of the keys and driving instructions

In connection with the booking confirmation, the customer will get driving instructions with the specifics about the key handover. Norppa-Majat should be informed about the estimated arrival time.

The number of the accommodated in the holiday home

The holiday home must not be used by more persons than mentioned in the general information. The use of a tent, caravan and mobile home is forbidden on the area without the permission from Norppa-Majat.

Pets

The bringing of pets to the holiday homes is forbidden unless it is mentioned in the general information or separately agreed with Norppa-Majat.

Included in the price of holiday homes

The price includes the use of the holiday home, sauna and rowing boat free of charge as well as the equipment and services mentioned in the general information. There is always the necessary furniture, detergents, cutlery and the utensils needed for cooking. The wood and electricity needed for heating are included in the price.

Not included in the price of the holiday home

No washing powder, spices, toilet paper or kitchen paper are included in the price.

The use of machines and devices

Norppa-Majat gives instructions for the use of machines and devices when handing over the object if there are no instructions for the use of machines and devices in the holiday home.

The use of devices and equipment reserved as ancillary service

Additional services and equipment mentioned in the information of the holiday object can be booked in connection with the reservation of the holiday home or you may also ask about them during the holiday. As additional service reserved equipment (eg. outboard motor) is available to the customer for the separately agreed time

Linen

The customer brings his own linen or reserves it as a payable service from Norppa-Majat. The linen set includes a sheet, pillow case, blanket cover, hand towel and bath towel. The use of beds without linen is forbidden.

Cleaning

The customer is responsible for the cleaning of the holiday home during the rental time and at the end of it or they reserve the final cleaning as a payable additional service (has to be reserved before the beginning of the holiday). In case that the premises have not been cleaned up at the end of the reservation, Norppa-Majat has the right to demand the cleaning payment at least according to the price list. In case that the final cleaning has not been ordered, following things have to be done:

– shaking the rugs
– vacuuming and wiping the floors
– removing the linen from the beds
– washing up and putting the dishes on their right places
– wiping the kitchen worktops, cooker and tables
– cleaning the toilet
– taking the rubbish out (there are specific places meant for this)
– cleaning the fire place

Damages

The customer is responsible for making good the damage caused to the holiday home or its property.

Complaints

All the complaints related to the holiday home have to be presented to Norppa-Majat without delay. If the matter cannot be fixed right away, the reclamation must be done in writing. The liability for compensation is limited to no more than the amount of the cottage rent.
